Bishop Charles C. Mullings
Bishop Mullings was born in Jamaica, W.I. and Lady Mullings was born in Danville, Virginia. Both were baptized in the name of Jesus and received the infilling of the Holy Ghost.
They met in Baltimore, Maryland, at First United Church of Jesus Christ (Apostolic) and shared in the Holy Ghost experiences of a lifetime under the dynamic leadership of Bishop Dr. Monroe Randolph Saunders, Sr. They both went through extensive training at United Institute of Biblical Studies, as well as the monthly, vibrant “Deeper Life Retreat.” After much prayer, persevering, and sacrifice, Bishop Mullings received his earned Master’s degree in Theology and Doctoral degree in Philosophy. They were the first couple in the youth group to be sent out on the Mission Field. Their first assignment was in Harrisburg, Pa.
With a sincere desire to be used by God, they have aimed to remain steadfast, unmovable, always abounding in fear of the Lord. After being commissioned to work in Miami, Florida, they came to this strange city with their baby girl and started a church in the North Miami area. Shortly after their son was born. Since then, God has worked many life-preserving miracles in their lives.
Bishop Mullings Pastors United Church International Apostolic Ministries (United I.A.M.) in North Miami, ably assisted by Lady Mullings, who works in all areas of ministry. In 2003 they opened the doors to First United COJC (Apostolic) in South Dade. To God Be The Glory!
Bishop & Lady Mullings are both compassionate people who have preached, taught, and practiced the gospel of compassion. The passion of their hearts is to be ushered into the glorious presence of the Lord and to see unity come to the body of Christ. They are deeply concerned with urban blight and have spent time feeding and clothing the ostracized and downtrodden in the Miami area, for which they received a citation from the Mayor of Miami Dade County. Lady Mullings is particularly touched in this area, having done significant studies in Urban Development and Planning in College.
Bishop Mullings’ remuneration came from his teaching in Miami-Dade County Public Schools and at Florida International University. He taught Chemistry Honors, Chemistry Honors Gifted, and Advanced Placement Chemistry (AP Chem) in High School. Lady Mullings’ earnings came from Credit Union Accounting. She was the Assistant Manager of the Macy’s Employees Federal Credit Union, overseeing an operation of over five thousand membership in Florida. She started the first Federal Credit Union for American Bankers Insurance Company on swanky Brickell Avenue in Miami (like 5th Ave. in NY) and was its first manager.
They crave your sincere intercessory praying for them, the Ministry in South Florida, and their work with the Presiding Bishop to develop a dynamic organization, Apostolic Faith Ministries, International “The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord.”
