Ministry Overview:
The purpose of AFMI Youth Ministry is to empower our children, youth, and young adults to live as disciples of Christ in this changing world, wholeheartedly serving Him and sharing the love of Christ with others. We strive to create an environment for them to grow in grace and the knowledge of the Lord Jesus in preparation for effective Ministry, within the context of the church, their sphere of influence, and beyond, through the mentorship of youth leaders who model these attributes as they serve in the Ministry.
There are several groups that the Youth Ministry serve:
Rising Stars (ages 5-10)
Next Generation (ages 11-16)
Navigating Our World (N.O.W.) (ages 17-23)
Ambassadors in Ministry (A.I.M.) (ages 24-39)
We will endeavor to create and foster an environment where they can develop, perfect, and sharpen their spiritual gifts and talents, serve others in need, and offer solutions in promoting social change through intentionally planned services. They will be equipped and prepared to help impact this generation and many to come.
